What do you think it means to live a good life?
I think morally to live a good life means you’re doing things to help yourself. You’re doing things that make you happy/ Excited. You’re doing things that bring joy to you. You don’t have to have money to be living a good life. For instance: sometimes living a good life for me is a good book, quiet, and maybe random people. Living a good life is just being happy in your body, mind, self, and spirit. Being content with who you are, what you are, and where you are. It’s what feels right to you.
What is one thing you’d like to change about the world?
If there was one thing I would change, it would be to give students a space to actually be able to talk and express themselves in a way that isn’t structured. Kind of like guiding them through their emotions and how they feel. Making a system that’s universal for kids to be able to talk. Being able to figure out who they are. Helping them be who they want to be. I want them to have a space to build themselves. Not in a way where it’s like “you have to sit like this” or “you have to look like this.” Grow however the fuck you want to grow. This is a place for you.
If there was on thing you’d want people to know, what would it be?
I’m never going to be uniform. I’m probably not gonna fit into any group in society. I’m weird, quirky, different. Some people like it, and some people hate it. Some people don’t understand it. But, I’m not gonna change/fit in. I don’t like blending in with other people. I don’t like leading or following. In a lot of groups that I’m in its hard for me to “be a part of.” There’re so many sides to me that its kind of confusing. One day I can love something and the next day ill hate it. I’m not a uniform person. Fitting in is not my thing. My spirit and personality are too big to fit into a mold of what someone wants me to be.
What inspires you?
I feel like that’s a weird question. So many things can inspire you. I guess it’s my future. The unknown. Thinking about all the possibilities that my life could have. The possibilities are endless. In life, shit just happens. Everything is not set in stone. I’m inspired by the possibility of what could happen. The fact that I have the options to make things happen inspires me. I could be a millionaire in five years and not know about it right now.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and what would you use it for?
Teleportation, definitely. I’d be everywhere. If I could teleport, I would be in every fucking country every day. I’m visiting every continent. I’m traveling. I’m going places. Would I be able to bring stuff back? I would be the robin hood of teleportation. I would steal from the rich, and give to the poor.
If you could make one rule for a day that everyone would have to follow, what would it be?
Quiet. Everybody has to be quiet. Just one day of silence. Not the animals though. Just humans being quiet. I’d want to see how we communicate with each other if we can’t talk. A large way that we communicate with each other is through saying things. I feel like if you can’t talk, you’ll have to adapt to different things. So, no talking. We’re all going to be quiet for 24 hours. That would be cool.
